Akihabara is never static. Between the historic Kanda Myojin shrine, the hobby towers of Radio Kaikan, and the buzz of Electric Town, the district hosts a year-round calendar of festivals, anime pop-ups, and seasonal displays. From spring shrine rituals to winter illuminations, there's always something happening.

Plan Your Visit
Most Akihabara events are free and clustered around JR Akihabara Station. Summer festivals can be hot and crowded, so arrive early, carry water, and wear comfortable shoes. For collab cafes and ticketed screenings, reserve ahead — popular franchises book out weeks in advance.
秋葉原のイベントの多くは無料で、JR秋葉原駅周辺に集まっています。夏の祭りは暑く混雑するため、早めに到着し、水分補給をこまめに、歩きやすい靴でお出かけください。コラボカフェやチケット制の上映会は事前予約が必須で、人気作品は数週間前に満席になります。
