MotoGP Fan Fest Tokyo takes Bellesalle Akihabara on Wednesday 30 September 2026, two days before the MOTUL Japanese Grand Prix at Mobility Resort Motegi (2-4 October). Doors 12:00, out by 19:00. Entry and stage viewing are free. Honda Mobility Land and MotoGP Sports Entertainment Group renamed the old "MotoGP in Tokyo" into an urban festival and parked it in Sotokanda instead of Shinjuku. The event page holds the fact sheet. This is the part that decides whether you actually see a rider or only a flag.
Numbered tickets, standing room, no early camp
The appearance stage is "Meet the Riders." Talk stage 15:00-16:00. Rider appearance 16:00-18:00. Stage viewing is standing only. Entry to the viewing zone is in numbered-ticket order. As of the 21 August 2026 update, Motegi still had not posted the ticket handout time or desk. Check the official pre-event page the morning of the 30th. If you miss the tickets, you can still walk the 1F and B1F booths. Organisers warn that crowd density can block the stage even with a ticket. Do not stake a spot before doors. That is written as a rule, not a suggestion.
The hall is Bellesalle Akihabara 1F hall and event space plus the B1F hall, inside the Sumitomo Fudosan Akihabara Building at 3-12-8 Sotokanda. JR Akihabara Electric Town Exit is the short walk. The same building is a regular Hot Toys venue, so the loading dock and the 1F lobby will already feel familiar if you were there in August. Light rain goes ahead. Strong wind or thunderstorms can cancel. This is an indoor hall with an outdoor hero-walk component, so weather language on the official page is not decorative.
The 11 names on the appearance sheet
Seven MotoGP riders, two Moto2, two Moto3. Line-ups change if a rider is needed at Motegi media. The published sheet for 30 September is:

Ogura is the Japanese title-fight name this year. If you only care about one autograph or one photo, he is the congestion. Bagnaia and Quartararo pull the factory Ducati and Yamaha crowds. The Japanese Moto2 and Moto3 riders are the ones you can actually talk to for more than two seconds if the barrier is thin.
Honda's sit-on NSF and Yamaha's bank-angle bike
Japanese factory PR booths sit on 1F. Honda HRC Castrol is showing Luca Marini's RC213V. Yamaha is showing Quartararo's current V4 machine. Honda also puts out sit-on NSF250R and NSF100 bikes in HRC Castrol colours. Yamaha sets up a bank-angle experience using Alex Rins' inline-four YZR-M1 so you can lean to about 60 degrees for a photo. Those two experiences are why families show up at 12:00 instead of 15:00. Support flags for Honda and Yamaha are handed out from door open at 12:00, limited numbers, gone when they are gone.
B1F is the rest of the grid of exhibitors. Motegi lists about 14 companies and groups. Named so far: Honda Motor / Honda Racing (1F and B1F), Yamaha Motor (1F and B1F), MOTUL Japan (planned, both floors), Aprilia via Piaggio Group Japan (B1F), plus tourism associations for Tochigi, Ibaraki, and Gunma, and Mobility Resort Motegi itself. There is an Ai Ogura special display. Merch is mixed through the same floor. Nothing here replaces a Motegi grandstand ticket. It is the free preview for people who cannot get to Haga.
Akihabara Hero Walk is the close-range slot
Riders walk a red carpet and take photos with fans. Last year's version ran in Shinjuku. The 2026 walk is tagged Akihabara. Official photos on the Motegi page are last year's, which is why the helmets and the street furniture may not match Sotokanda. Treat the walk as the backup if the numbered tickets for the stage run out. Barriers will still exist. You will not get a private pit-lane moment in front of Yodobashi.
If you already hold Japanese GP tickets, Motegi's PASEO campaign in Utsunomiya is a separate weekday errand: machine display and welcome wrapping through 5 October, plus a ¥500 food coupon at selected PASEO cafes if you bought GP tickets on MobilityStation by 30 September 23:59 and spend ¥1,000+ tax in. JR Utsunomiya station also shows an RC213V on platform 5 from 4-6 September. None of that is in Akihabara. Do not mix the dates.
